Finally!
Okay...inspired by a request from dear Beth, I made my OWN pattern for luggage tags..
And they look pretty good - of course this is just my first one - and I need to cut the vinyl a bit bigger and fabric a bit shorter - but this shows promise!!
Beth yours will be perfect!!

Olorias' Favorites
Lori's Log:
I have been so lucky in my creative endeavors to meet other crafty and artistic people that I would not have befriended otherwise - for the next several entries (while I finish other crafty stuff for my show) - I will highlight those crafters who offer lovely items.
Please take a moment, check out their shops and leave them a note! I love them - and I am sure you will too!
Today's crafter - BuzyBeeding - a lovely little spot for jewelry - featuring my friend, Heather!
Ironically, as I was winding down from my short but fun life as a jewelry crafter, I met Heather through a sale on my Etsy shop - she was my first Etsy customer - purchasing some destash beads. Checking our her shop, I was so impressed by her lovely pieces, reasonable prices and overall eye for color.
Please check out Heather's shop at: http://www.etsy.com/shop/buzybeeding
She also does custom pieces - she is a very dedicated artist and her pieces have FLAIR!

Score: Serger 1; Lori 0
I often wondered why the innocent looking BabyLoc Serger sat collecting dust under my mother's sewing desk.
Tonight I solved the mystery - that sucker has a mind of its own and to thread it requires the patience of an eye transplant surgeon.
I spent more time swearing at that thing then I did sewing.
In the end, I had a few peaceful moments with the beast - but I am ready for a vodka right now.

New Patterns!!
Using some really cute fabric I found at Joanns - clearance for 2 bucks a yard - I made these new items.
Don't look too close at the stitching OOPs- but I love this simple wristlet and I finally perfected a case to accomodate either an IPhone or Droid. Other smart phones also invited!
Still waiting for my hardware to make these phone cases wristlet ready!
Pattern of wristlet courtesy of Bumbleberries Boutique!

Lovely Olivia is on vacation with her family getting some much deserved R & R. So I must persevere in the world of hand made arts..........
Okay friends - I was sidelined most of the weekend with a sinus infection - but craftiness prevails and I was able to tweek a pattern!!
Love Love the results 2 new must have items!!
The first is a take on the traditional business card holder - this one is a bit bigger to hold all those gift and shopper cards that always seems to get lost in my purse!!
Drumroll please.....an IPhone holder - and you can use the spare pocket to hold all those cards!! Bonus!!
Scroll Down to see them !!

Coffee Sleeves
Just got the cutest pattern for making coffee sleeves - it appears that all the rage right now is carrying around the reusable coffee mugs - great idea for the environment!
But these coffee mugs need some dressing up - I'm going to make one this weekend (in the 14 minutes of spare time I plan to carve out!) -and make one - please tell me what you think!
Pictures coming as soon as I can figure out how to get them off my IPad.
